Summers County is a county located in the U.S. state of West Virginia . As of the 2010 census , the population was 13,927. Its county seat is Hinton . Summers County was created by an act of the West Virginia General Assembly on February 27, 1871 from parts of Fayette, Greenbrier, Mercer and Monroe counties. It was named in honor of George W. Summers .

General Information/Standard of Conduct -Arrival: Camp check in will begin at 12:00 PM on Monday afternoon. Please try to arrive no later than 4:30 PM -Meals: All meals are included in the price of registration. -Departure: Camp will end Friday after the morning chapel -Lost and Found: Items not claimed after 30 days will be discarded. -Schedule: All Campers are to follow the camp schedule for their enjoyment, safety, and accountability to camp staff. -Camp nurse: A registered nurse will be on duty at all times. Special instructions will be given at camp for those taking medications. -What to bring: KJV Bible, bedding, pillow, towels, toiletries, camera, flashlight, jacket, sports clothes for activities, nice casual clothes for informal services, at least one old pair of tennis shoes, and spending money $30-$50. -Do not bring: Alcoholic beverages, drugs, tobacco, fireworks, ammunition, guns, weapons, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, magazines, apparel with inappropriate graphics or lettering, or any type of electronic device, including, but not limited to cell phones, CD, DVD, MP3, or other music/media players, computers, PDAs, radios, TVs, and video games. -Christian conduct: As a Christian Camp, Rolling Hills Youth Camp maintains high standards of conduct and separation. Campers who use tobacco, alcohol, or any form of illegal drugs will be dismissed. Any noncooperative or noncompliant campers will be subject to dismissal at the parents’ expense. -Ladies/girls note: Please bring knee-length skirts or dresses for the evening services (slits must not come above the knee). Any fashion worn must come at least to the top of the knee and cover the shoulders. Low necklines (front or back) are not acceptable camp attire.
