With a highly skilled staff, Camp F.U.N. embraces children who are looking to have fun with others but may struggle or have struggled in a previous camp. The camp is designed to provide support for children who may have difficulty getting started, managing transitions, understanding expectations, reading social cues or managing high energy or shyness so they may enjoy the fun of camp.
Take advantage of the unique and exciting opportunity to create - or star - in your own television program using the Midpeninsula Community Media Center's professional production equipment. Work as part of a production crew in our state-of-the-art studio. Edit footage into a video short with Apple's Final Cut Pro, or explore the digital realm of movies, music, and motion with leading video, sound, and graphics software. If you already have editing experience, check out our brand new Advanced Animation workshop, where campers will be able to experiment with special effects. At summer's end, the Media Center will host a public screening and awards ceremony, showcasing the Best of Digiquest 2010. All workshop projects will be featured on Cable Channel 28 in early September during the Media Center's annual Youth Video Festival. Workshops days are Monday through Friday, 9 am - 4 pm. No previous video experience is required.

Yoga is for everyone! Yoga can help increase well-being and offers tools to help navigate the challenges of life in high school. In this group we will practice yoga-based exercises that integrate mind and body, helping de-stress and more powerfully choose who and how to be. In this eight-week group for high school teens, we will do yoga poses, breathing and games, as well as group sharing, visualizations, journaling and drawing. Wear comfortable and loose clothing and bring a journal or notebook. There will be no class Monday July 19th and August 2nd.
