History of Pulaski County, IN

Pulaski County was formed in 1839. It is named for Polish hero Kazimierz Pu?aski , an ally of the Americans during the Revolutionary War . He was killed in 1779 at the Siege of Savannah . An adjacent County, Jasper , was also named for a hero of Savannah.
