About Bulloch County, GA

Bulloch County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia . It was created on February 8, 1796. Bulloch County has undergone rapid growth in recent years. As of 2010, the population was 70,217. The county seat is Statesboro . In February 1776, the Georgia Legislature created a county from St. Phillip's parish. The legislature designated this parish to be called Bulloch County. It was Georgia's 21st county. It is named after Archibald Bulloch , a South Carolina native who served as Provincial Governor of Georgia.
