Photography is an art form which has been explored and experimented in different manner for lively rendition of lifeless objects or for perfect portrayal of human emotion or for unique presentation of a subject. Photography can be a rewarding career option and you can encourage your kids to join summer camps to take some basic photography lessons and help them decide if they are really interested to pursue this field on a professional basis.

Summer camps on photography can provide some basic lessons on 35mm black and white darkroom and color digital photography. Learning black and white photography is more important since a subject can be projected in a different and unique dimension with this technique. So, students are given lessons to shoot and develop 35 mm film and they are needed to spend some time in the darkroom to learn about black and white photo developing techniques. They are also taught digital photography while visiting beautiful locations. Often they are inspired to experiment with both cameras while shooting so as to enable them to capture a mix of 35mm black and white negative film and color digital films. They are taught photo editing techniques and portrait studio photography using strobe, flash and seamless. Apart from practical training, campers need to attend theoretical classes on the history of photography, aesthetics, photo theory and studio lighting. Students are also taught the importance of location and the subject they are shooting.

Advanced camps on photography aim at providing the exposure to work in media format. Campers are encouraged to develop portfolio of own work to showcase their creativity and unique styles.

Photography summer camps are ideal to explore the artistic and creative nature of your kid.
