The best way in which children can spend their summers is by joining summer camps. They can learn a lot of things about nature, about science, about different kinds of arts and crafts, etc. The camps help to develop the overall personality of a child. But you cannot make your child join any summer camp that you get to hear of. You have to obtain 2012 camps recommendations so that you can choose the right camp for your child.

Mostly it is recommended that children who are very small and may have just crossed kindergarten or first grades can join day camps. Little younger kids can join summer camps that go on for a day or two or are held during weekends. And teenagers can opt for summer camps that are held for longer periods like a week, or a month or even a year. But whatever camp you choose for your child, be sure that your child will have a time of his life for that duration.
